I purchased this cage to hold a purebred Manx cat, She needed confinement during her heat. The cage is sturdy and tall, easy to clean, and disassemble. I can take each level off and wash it in the bath tub if it needs it. It is light and easy to handle. 5 casters support the bottom. The snaps that hold the levels together have popped off but not broken and are easy to snap on again. 2 months use and so far no broken parts. the cat uses it a a kitty tower and climbs it on her outside days and lounges around in it when confined. Bar spacing is safe for kittens and no pinched toes in the wires like other cages. a full size litter box fits in the bottom. it is a cage but doesn't look like a zoo or shelter cage, the yellow is cute and sunny and hasn't faded so far. Two cautions: be very careful inserting the casters in the base, they are tough to insert. do not use a hammer or too much weight (it's plastic) Latch the door securely with both pins engaged or your kitty may get out.
